So many adventures, so little time!

My Blog!

What an odd day.

I slept for over 12 hours last night. After a week of 3 hour rests between non-stop work, it was needed. I was broken down and in dire need of a break.

So I woke up today, bright eyed and bushy tailed (not to mention zitty faced.. yay menstruation!). I piled my art together and hailed a cab across town. One latte and two failed attempts at finding the right apartment number, I buzzed the door of a downtown building. Some fellow who found me on Model Mayhem and asked for an interview stood on the other side of the threshold.

This is starting to sound shady right? "Then he opened the door and raped me!" Ahhh, just kidding.

It was entirely legit. He has a website that helps guys pick up girls and apparantly found me "attractive" enough to interview. So he asked the typical questions "how should a guy ask for a girls phone number?", "have you ever chased after a guy" etc etc.

Halfway through the questioning I realized I'm a very odd breed of girl. I like the company of a male, but I rarely (if ever) compete for it. I hate typical flirtation, but give my number to anyone.I despise flowers but will fall head over heels for the slightly awkward guy in the corner... just because he has the sort-of-weird-but-super-confident vibe to him. Which explains the last few tall, lanky and even downright nerdy guys I've been with. (p.s. I adore you all- that's not meant as an insult).

So for my last thought of the day I'll leave you all with this- if you're that slightly awkward guy with loads of confidence and a happy go lucky attitude. Send me your number. As I admitted on camera earlier today, I always give my digits in return.
