I did a little photo shoot for a new website today. The website owner didn't have a photographer so I took it upon myself to find one and get him the shots (any job that contributes towards rent is worth putting in the extra work for). So I called up a girl I know who I befriended at an art show and we got together to make some magic happen. 

In a public restroom where the mirrors were big and beautiful. 

She had this great idea to do a shot of me 'getting ready' to go out. I think the photos will turn out awesome but the experience was the best part of it all. I was in little jean shorts, a tank top and tights with makeup and lipstick on.... in the shops of Columbus Circle. 

For those of you who aren't familiar with the area, the Columbus Circle shops are in the trump building and have stores like Armani Exchange and Coach inside. The bathrooms are BEAUTIFUL: granite counters, televisions in the mirrors – no joke! - , funky tiled walls, nice smells, etc. Unfortunately we waltzed in right around rush hour (not thinking, as always) and it just so happens a lot of wealthy women were taking pee breaks during their extravagant shopping sprees. 

So I bent over the counter and put on my lipstick as the old women stared at me like I might be a hooker or I might be a model. After all, who really knows in New York?  Elizabeth snapped away on her camera during the entire event, jumping back and forth from one foot to the other as people scooted past her. 

Best of all, just out of the shot, I was wearing polka dotted rain boots on my stockinged feet.

Perfection. 

Anyways, I came home and decided to spice up this post by adding a funny comic about models but I could not find one to save my life. Instead, I found hundreds of girls on Yahoo! Answers asking if they 'could make it as a model'. I'm not sure why that came up under “funny model comic” but, well, it did.

Which made me chuckle. Chuckle and then ask myself:

1. Why are you asking the people on Yahoo! Answers?! 

2. Why are people on that site so surprisingly feisty???

One man shot down a pretty looking girl with a simple "You're face is bland...". And then an older woman came to the rescue with a page long response on how the girl should pursue it no matter what. The girl had posted her senior pictures for the world to judge and didn't get anywhere near the response she was probably expecting.

On another page the girl asked the same question and a man suggested "You could do porn..." 

Well, I thought so too but I wouldn't say it!

So I've decided to post my own question. Not because I want to be a model, or because I want affirmation. But I just find the answers hilarious (I wonder if someone will suggest ME for porn?!)! And it'll give me something to blog about for the next few days which never hurts. 

Why not? I need a little entertainment on my internet
